About

Enterprise Operator. Trusted Advisor. Executive Educator.

Portrait of Chris B. Kennedy

Enterprise operating executive, advisor, and educator who blends a breadth of operating experience and artificial intelligence to scale business platforms and drive enterprise value in regulated financial institutions.

I lead enterprise payments platforms at a leading U.S. regional bank supporting nearly $4.0T in annual transaction volume across consumer, corporate, wealth management, and treasury business lines. My role sits at the intersection of business performance, operations, technology, and risk — driving revenue growth, operating leverage, and modernization of core banking infrastructure. I work across the enterprise to help prioritize payment initiatives and strategy that balance growth and regulatory expectations.

My experience centers on aligning platform strategy, operating models, and capital allocation to enable real-time payments, embedded finance, and API-driven commercial banking capabilities. I have built and operationalized P&L views to guide investment decisions, improved organizational capacity by 40%+ without cost expansion, and support $100M+ in business revenue streams.

In parallel, I have contributed to industry efforts shaping open banking and responsible AI standards through organizations such as the Financial Data Exchange and the Data & Trust Alliance. I have served as an invited faculty member at Duke University focused on applied AI for business leaders, and provide advisory services for private boards and early-stage firms.
